At Jim Wise Reclamation we stock a large and ever-changing range of reclaimed solid oak mantel beams, each full of genuine character and originality. Salvaged from barns, mills and period buildings, our oak mantels keep their original features — waney edges, saw marks, beaten edges, distressed faces, mortise holes, surface cracks and character shakes — that give every beam its own personality.
Sizes range from compact mantels around 1280mm and 1370mm through to substantial beams at 2145mm, 2480mm and a full 2800mm, including chunky sections such as this 2010mm beam at 230 x 250mm. As genuine reclaimed one-offs, exact sizes and markings vary from beam to beam.
