A reclaimed fireplace or woodburner is the natural centrepiece of a room, and a salvaged original brings warmth and character that a modern reproduction rarely achieves. At Jim Wise Reclamation we regularly take in fireplaces, stoves and log burners through our demolition work, giving period features a new home.

Current stock includes a characterful vintage cast iron log burner and a striking enamelled wood burning stove by Les Fonderies Bruxelloises of Belgium — a genuine one-off. As reclaimed pieces, each is sold as seen, so once it's gone it won't be repeated.

A reclaimed stove pairs perfectly with a solid reclaimed oak mantel beam above it and a salvaged chimney pot to finish the flue. For more characterful salvage, see our architectural items collection. We always recommend that reclaimed stoves and log burners are installed by a HETAS-registered engineer onto a suitable, swept flue.
